I DID IT!

I've lost 50 lbs. FIFTY! FIVE ZERO!

OH YEAH!

I'm officially lighter than I was when I got pregnant with Mr. Grumpybutt. I officially fit into all my prepregnancy clothes (although some are a little snug still), even my skinniest "skinny" jeans. I'm officially on cloud 9!

So, as promised here is a before and a couple after pictures the hubs took of me this morning.

Disneyland before 50lbs weight loss

size 28 shorts -- super tight around the middle; size 4x shirt

This morning after 50lbs.

size 18 pants -- a little give in the middle; size 2x shirt -- fits loosely

These pictures really make me notice the difference. Not only in my midsection which is seriously pronounced but also in my face. Gone is my double chin. I also have a collar bone. Who'd have thought?

I still have a ways to go. I'd like to lose at least another 50 to 60 lbs. I basically want to get into a size 12. My ultimate goal, aside from being healthy and in shape, is to be able to walk into ANY store (not children's -- smarty pants) but any adult clothing store and be able to buy anything right off the rack. No more "fat girl" specialty stores for me. No more ugly clothes because designers don't think overweight women want to wear cute clothes. No more baggy ill fitting clothes trying to disguise my rolls.

Can I get an AMEN?

Celebrate a huge moment with me with a delicious baked good toast! In honor of my milestone I'm doing another giveaway! 2 lucky people will win delicious baked goods of their choice from the list. I'll ship anywhere. Comment here or on facebook if you want to be entered.

Lisa, please accept my congratulations! I've had some stuff happen in the last year that make me understand the greatest gift in life is your health. By losing the weight you are giving the gift of yourself, vibrant and healthy, to your family. Keep it up and you. go. girl.

This is kinda hard to ask because I've just spent two days foundering myself on my husband's birthday cake, but, can I have some more please?

Terri

I agree with the comments about you being beautiful before and after! Doesn't it feel good to be healthy though! It's hard work, but worth the fight. Your blog is my favorite to read! You have inspired me so much! I am two pounds from my pre preg weight because of reading your blog and getting inspired!!!!! I have a long ways to go still though. Thank you Lisa for writing your blog. I would love treats, but your candid writing is what I love the most!

Stacey -- Well if you win the drawing you'll get your brownies woman!! I'll make special Zombie Brownies just for you! (Now I just have to invent it. LOL)

Mysti -- Yeah, I originally started this not only to have a slimmer waistline but to be healthy for my boys. I want to be there to harass 3ft and Mr. Grumpybutt for a very long time. I love how much energy I have and how good I feel but I gotta say, it feels really great to be slimmer too.

Nunan -- you've been my hero. I was looking at pictures of us today -- you were gorgeous then as you are now (even if you are a little over the hill)! You will always be "The Wind Beneath My Wings".

Sara -- *blushes* Thank you so much *hugs*

ZebraDork -- You gotta win to get the baked goods, babe!

Hooey -- You've been with me since the first blog and been a huge motivation for me to keep going. Thank you so much!!

Smurfergirl -- The cranberry scones you got from me yesterday aren't enough, eh? :D Consider yourself entered, lady. *hugs*

Sully -- Thanks, that means a lot coming from my favorite McPig. :) If you win the giveaway are you going to share with Voodoo Bride and Carien? :D

Doodlesnot -- well holy heck, you actually paid attention this time!!! Demanding aren't you? :D Any recipes you want, just let me know. (I still owe you the Thanksgiving ones, don't I?)

Terri -- I've never felt better and I know it's only going to get better because I'm totally committed to my new lifestyle. And don't feel guilty -- my baked goods are way healthier than their full fat counterparts so you can virtually eat mine guilt free (well in moderation.. LOL).

Janna -- Thank you so much *hugs*. Are you sure you don't want to give these guys' luck a run for their money? :D

Jennifer -- I am so glad that my journey is an inspiration for you. That totally makes my day to know it. I've still got a long ways to go too and we can do it together! If you need anything, let me know. Even if it's just to "listen" or some recipes :D.

Gini -- how'd I know it was going to be all about the goodies with you? LOL You have to win to get the goodies! And I can't wait for the next "after" pictures either! :D

I just wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have done it without all of you -- without your inspiration, without the accountability, your moral support, or without your cheering.

Here's to another 50 lbs lost! :)
