I didn't workout yesterday. Not because I "didn't want" to but because we're going to a celebratory lunch at Red Robin today (We're celebrating my husband's full time job status. After 2 years of contract jobs and unemployment he's now got an awesome FULL TIME job!). So I needed to workout today to make up for how much I'm going to "enjoy" Red Robin. (And, yeah baby, I'm going to ENJOY it!)
Besides my husband gets home late on Fridays because of traffic and late meetings so I don't even plan to workout on Fridays. If he's home early enough I will but if not, it's not a big deal to switch days around.
And it's not as if I didn't get a bunch of hidden exercise in yesterday, anyway. I took 3ft and Mr. Grumpybutt to the pool. I live upstairs. So I made about 10 trips up and down the stairs lugging strollers, baby toys, diaper bags and the kitchen sink (I felt like I packed that much for an hour at the pool). The pool is also over by the "gym" so it's a good 5 minute walk there and then another 5 back. So, while it might not have been a real workout, it wasn't like I was vegging in front of the TV all day or something. Not that I ever get to do that, my kids never allow me that luxury.
